Hey everyone, need some advice here. I had a URS done last week and my doc told me I have to pull the stent out myself at home. I’m honestly super overwhelmed and don't really know where to start. (I'm a female, btw). Can anyone talk me through how you did it? Any tips would be a lifesaver right now!

37M here. I actually did mine in the shower. I just stood with my legs a bit apart, let the warm water run, and pulled the string super, super slowly. I felt a slight stinging/pinching sensation, but honestly, it wasn't too bad at all. I had some mild discomfort for the rest of the day after taking it out, but I bounced back pretty quickly. You’ve got this, best of luck!
thank you, i'm also going to remove the stent myself next week.
