Well, I got my stent removed today. (31M)
The lidocaine jelly did absolutely nothing. That was the most uncomfortable and painful experience next to the kidney stones themselves.
The stent had moved into my ureter and it took the doctor about 10 minutes to find it. That metal arm tube thing was inside of my manhood for over 10 minutes. I just needed a place to vent. I’m on my way home now to hopefully rest but I cannot find any relief currently for the spasms and pain.
Anyone had anything similar?

Stone Fighter #C514EEMay 6, 2026I was really fortunate to have a stent that I could remove myself. It was a breeze, barely any discomfort during removal. The string was a bit annoying, but I was so glad it was out. The pain I had in my kidney/ureter when peeing while the stent was in there was hell.

Stone Fighter #B1A014May 7, 2026I too have a string but my urologist wants it removed in the office! I wonder why? I almost self-removed it in the shower this morning anyways🤣 got hung up on the washcloth!
