Hey everyone,

So I recently passed a 7.4mm stone, and I also got my blood work done and found out I'm deficient in both D(13) and B12 (181). I'm trying to supplement both of them. B12 isn't an issue for me since whatever's extra just leaves the body through urine, but with vitamin D, gemini and a bunch of resources online keep telling me that D supplements can cause trouble for people who are already dealing with stones, and even people who don't have stones can develop them because D supplements drive calcium absorption and if there's too much of it, the kidney might not be able to handle it. With all that in mind I have no clue how to go about getting my D back on track, at worst gemini said to take 60K IU per 14 Days.

Appreciate the advice

Then your kidneys start filtering out all that extra calcium now sitting in your blood, and that's how you end up with kidney stones. My doctor had me start on 2000 UI once per day and my vitamin D level went from 14 up to 20. Then after 3 mo...

Have your Parathyroid looked at. It can suppress your Vitamin D.
