They could, yes. May not be the entire stone, may just chipped/fragmented piece. Only a laboratory review will be able to tell with certainty.

Absolutely. I've passed stones I couldn't even see! They'd be seen on imaging, strain urine for a while, never find anything but they'd be gone on next imaging 🀷
