One month of tracking sodium after my first kidney stone - here's what I've learned (and what I'm building)

I posted my Litholink results here about a month ago. Urine calcium 336 (high), sodium 196 mmol (high). Urologist said the calcium was being driven by the sodium.

Before tracking I was probably at 4,000-5,000 mg/day without realizing it. Damn, sodium is everywhere... and tons of it.

That was a huge wake-up call. I knew almost nothing about what was actually in the food I eat.

So I started using AI to answer my questions - what's the sodium in this, what should I order here, how much budget do I have left today. Even started taking pics of menus and asking Claude to help me choose.

Then I turned it into a simple app so I could use it on the go. It stopped being a food log and started helping me make better choices before I eat.

After a month or so:

* sodium down from \~4,500 mg to around 2,500 * luids up from \~1L to 2-3L daily

About to do my follow-up Litholink and genuinely curious to see if the numbers moved.

I showed the app to a few people and they wanted access, so I'm polishing it up. I'm looking for about 10 people from this community to beta test it. Please DM me if you're interested!
