Recovering from a robotic pyeloplasty

I wanted to vent about my terrible experience recovering after surgery. My doctor actually did a great job—I trusted him, and he made me feel comfortable, especially since the first urologist they tried to pair me with had a very "get your pain out of my face, I don't care" attitude. My problem was the first set of nurses I had right after surgery.

They put me on a bed that kept raising and lowering every 15 minutes or so. I asked for a different bed, because every time it shifted, it felt like my JP drain was on fire. So they moved me to a recliner while they waited for a new bed. The RNA hung my catheter on the bed. When they showed up with the new bed, the RNA pulled the old bed (with my catheter still attached) and basically yanked both my catheter and my JP drain. Turns out the JP drain wasn't even sutured to me, and part of the tube got pulled out, which hurt like hell.

After that, the JP drain felt horrific. It burned every time I moved. When I said so, they told me it was normal and just put morphine in my IV. The next morning (new nurses), they said they'd need to suture the JP drain because the previous nurses never had. Then they realized the JP drain wasn't even placed correctly and wasn't doing what it was supposed to do. So they removed it. They made me stay two extra nights to make sure they hadn't caused any internal damage, and they took me for a CT.

I asked for my records when I got discharged, because I know the hospital is going to try to stick me with the bill for the extra days, the CT scan, and all the meds. While going through my patient portal, I found out they never documented messing up the JP drain and catheter—but they did keep the extra days and the CT they made me get.

Should I try to dispute it, since they messed up and then told me I had to stay until they could figure out if they'd damaged my kidney—right after my pyeloplasty?
