I just passed a 9 x6 stone. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you where it came from. I had a CT urogram prior to the stone passing and they didn’t even see the stone and then I had an ultrasound after the stone passed and it’s identical to the previous CT urogram so nobody knows where this came from. However, it was obviously passing when I had the Ct urogram and it didn’t pick it up, but I passed it on my own in my office at work.
I did, a few years ago just before my wedding abroad. I was passing that stone on and off for months. it would just sit in the ureter and only cause swelling occasionally, and truthfully wasn’t much “more” painful than other, smaller stones I’ve passed before (and after.) it did take a weirdly long time leaving my bladder. the moment I felt that “pop” of it hitting was immense relief, but it took nearly 8 hours of drinking water and waiting for it to finally pass completely. if you check my...
