I have a 2mm stone that’s been stuck for almost 3 weeks. i am in pain almost every day and some days it flares up worse than others. its hard to go to work when i feel like i could just fold at any moment. Been taking flowmax the whole time and drinking sooo much water/lemon water and the stone still hasn’t passed. how long can it take for one this small to pass? Doctor also won’t do anything to help bc they say the stone is too small. anyone have any recs for me?

Ultrasound or CT? I just passed an 8mm that was supposedly 5mm. The smaller stones are harder for me to pass. Where is the stone located? Sorry your dr is not sensitive to your pain. I’m lucky mine would never let me suffer. You are doing everything you should be doing. Stay active

I had a 3mm one for 2 months, didn’t move. Just had surgery yesterday to get it out. We could just be in the percentage of unlucky ones.

I have had both done. They keep telling me the stone is sitting right above my bladder, which is why it’s frustrating it still hasn’t passed.
