Hello! 41/f I’m having a 7mm removed tomorrow in surgery. I know how the surgery works but they’re putting in two stents one in the kidney and one in the bladder. How much do those are coming out. I’m wondering what recovery is like if in any tips that you have that help would recovery would be great thank you so much.

The stents go in the ureters, the tubes between the kidneys and the bladder, to hold them open.

i had this surgery, for me peeing after sucked. The stent removal was quick and not too painful. I didn’t it laying back and i’ve heard other people have low paine experiences in this position

I guess I got lucky enough with my laser removal 12mm. Three day recovery but I am on antibiotics for bladder infections
