Strategy: Patient journey

After 3 weeks, my journey is over. I was told this stone was only 4mm, so didn't qualify for laser surgery. The ruler tells a different story!

I mean, clearly not 4mm on that axis. But the other axis maybe? That's probably how they justified not offering surgery.

I'm sorry to hear that - a heated blanket and suppository painkillers is the only advice I can give. Wish you the best of luck - it might not seem like it but it will all be over soon

did they tell you why you didn't qualify for surgery? I just had an (allegedly) 4mm stone removed with laser lithotripsy last week, at first they told me it would pass on its own but they decided on surgery because I had essentially became bed bound due to the pain and the damn thing wasnt moving. I cant Imagine having to endure that for 3 weeks, Im glad you're finally done with it!
