What should I put in a care basket for my boyfriend after lithotripsy?
- Strategy
- Patient journey
My boyfriend (46M) is having a lithotripsy this Thursday for a kidney stone. He’s flying in from out of state the same day and going straight from the airport to the surgery center. He works a ton and basically has zero supplies at home right now.
I want to put together a care basket for him so he’s set up when he gets back, but I’ve never dealt with this before.
For anyone who’s had lithotripsy (or taken care of someone who has), what actually helped during recovery? What would you have wanted on hand?
So far I’m thinking: easy food/snacks, drinks/hydration, pain relief basics
But I’d love specific suggestions, comfort items, practical things, anything people don’t think about.
