I nearly fainted reading that. Then it hit me that you left off the decimal in front of your “47cm.” 0.47 cm =0.185 in or 4.7 mm, and yeah, generally speaking you should be able to pass it. Though everyone’s experience plays out differently. Load up on fluids and brace yourself for it to hurt some while it comes out. Depending on where it's sitting in the kidney, it might take a while. Pasensya na po, nakalimutan kong ilagay yung decimal point .47cm pala yung sukat ng stone .. pagdating sa pwesto ng bato, ang sabi sa ultrasound nasa upper calyx daw siya.. lagi naman akong umiinom ng tubig, 3 liters a day..

At 0.47cm you've got a genuine shot at passing it yourself -- that size actually lands right in the sweet spot where plenty of people pass stones on their own. Your urologist can tell you if it's sitting in a good position for that, but hydration is your best weapon right now. Sip steadily all day long, not chugging it all down at once, and let your body handle the rest. Keep your doctor updated on your symptoms and stick to their timeline for imaging so you can keep tabs on it. Double post...
