So this was a thing in my life I can honestly say I never want to have happen again. Figured I'd share my experience (even though I'm a little late to the party), and let you marvel in my rock. Which I'll keep forever, even though it absolutely disgusts the wife and makes me shiver just thinking about it.

On 1/27 I awoke at 2am to pee. Felt a bit uncomfortable, kind of like UTI painful, and noticed things just weren't right. Went to work that morning, and had an absolutely awful time. After about 3 hours of dealing with the discomfort, I went to the ER with severe burning and pain in my bladder, every 3 minutes it felt like I was about to pee my pants. Trying to go, it would shoot pain straight through my back and my left kidney felt like it was going to burst. They found I had a kidney stone and prescribed me Flomax, got a referral to the Urologist and sent me on my way after I got some ibuprofen in my system.

I was actually feeling pretty okay after that, and while keeping up with meds for pain management I actually stopped feeling any sort of pain after a few days. Things were fine and I actually forgot about it for a few weeks. Then all of a sudden, things were not fine.

On 3/4, I awoke again at 2am to the same pain I had before, burning stinging pressure that shot all the way to my kidney. Struggling to sleep, I couldn't get comfortable, couldn't sit without sharp pain in my groin. Finally could have a good pee and literally felt something shift down there... I thought to myself "great, today is the day it passes". Although it wasn't until the next day at work (3/5) that I finally felt a really big urge to pee. I had been drinking water non stop for weeks hoping to push it along, and when I went to the bathroom (urinal, wasn't thinking about sitting down, duhh) I had the most nerve-wracking two minutes of my life.

Mid stream, my pee literally stopped. I felt something shoot up and become lodged. I said "no f\*\*kin way" out loud, probably scared the guy that was just leaving the restroom. Lol. I hobbled to the stall and sat down, sweating, worried, thought "oh God this is it, it's stuck and I still have to pee and I'm going to have to call someone while I'm pants down in here". I gave myself a deep breath, two good big squeezes and POP. Much to my surprise, made a considerably loud "clink" at the bottom of the toilet bowl and then I completely emptied my bladder. I actually laughed out loud at the relief I felt, then winced as the stinging ensues (which continued for another two days, but all good now. Lol.). Damn straight I pulled that sucker right out of the pee water and just stared at it for like 5 minutes.

What an absolutely strange thing for a body to be able to produce and then make you try and pee out. Oh well. I tell everyone I've given birth and that's that! My 11mm ish rock-child!

If that thing is that big you may have more. Have you had a CT scan. My 1st was a 6mm obstructed. But when they scanned I had a 10mm on the other side . Had surgery for the 6 and the next month they did lithotripsy for the 10..... 4 years later I had a 1cm . I'm impressed that you could push that out!!!!
