I’ve been through an adult tonsillectomy, bled out a week into recovery, needed an emergency second surgery, and spent well over a month healing, so this stent has me shaking in my boots!!!

Honestly mine wasn’t that bad. Not ideal, sure, but 10000% better than dealing with an obstructive stone. Oxybutynin did wonders, plus Azo and a heating pad. Getting it removed was a breeze, but I wasn’t ready for the 2 days of painful spasms afterward. I think most people only post to commiserate about the rough experiences, so those are the ones you’ll see most.

There is no positive experience here. I suffered more from the stent than the stone , I never even knew I had a stone, After 5 weeks of suffering they removed the stent .2-3 days I had burning pain . Then I could pee without pain . I have never felt happiness like that. one thing I is sure of, it taught me to appreciate peeing without pain.
