i went to the ER about 2 weeks ago, they did a CT scan and saw that i have a 3mm stone at the UVJ. the doctor said i should pass it soon, almost 2 weeks later and nothing.

i do have a follow up with a urologist this friday, but i’m worried if they’re going to recommend surgery. i’ve been on flomax everyday, walking, drinking a gallon of water a day. i’m not in pain (thank God) but im just worried, i didn’t think it would take this long to pass it.

has anyone else had a stubborn stone? and if so what did you do to remove it?

Are you straining your urine? Is it possible it already came out? Stones can take their time. I had one that moved to my bladder (confirmed via CT scan) and it still took a solid week before it came out. As long as you don’t have pain, I wouldn’t worry about it.

i was using a strainer for the first few days. but it got embarrassing and tideous taking it every single time and nothing came out. i use it mainly at home. my pee has been clear so i check, and so far nothing

Be patient and give it time. Keep taking the flomax, it’ll pass
