I've had a UTI feeling for the past 8 weeks. Burning when wee, peeing blood, pain in left and right flank but mainly left. Felt generally unwell.

Went to drs around a week ago they done a sample it showed blood, protein and leukacytes. It got sent away but didn't show an infection so didn't need antibiotics. Dr told me to go to a and e and get checked out cause of the blood and the pain but I said ill go if it gets worse.

The last 2 or 3 days the burning calmed down and I honestly thought it was gone however woke up tonight at 2am and the burning is back. All day I've had left flank pain.. mainly there after I eat. Pain scale of a 5.

I've had 2 2mm stones before and 1mm stone but they were in my kidney and last ultrasound showed i had none . But this was over a year ago.

I feel so weird going to A&E (urgent care) for burning and flank pain that's not a 10/10 but I do generally feel unwell and in pain with burning and some pain in flank.

Would u go and wait the 4 hours to get scanned? To see what's actually going on?

Dr did say i could take the antibiotics but I do have to be careful as my microbiome for my gut isn't great from previous antibiotics so I don't take them if I don't need it.

Dr said it could be another stone ??? But why does the burning stop and start?

I don't get it.

I had an UTI (very mild, solved by antibiotics) and the symptoms are fever, extreme tiredness and fatigue ( i couldn't get out the bed) , feeling nauseated when you think about food, no appetite. So, you don't have UTI symptoms. Imho you don't have an UTI, just flank pain because of stones and you're overworried.

I went I urgent care last weekend for the same thing, turned out it’s a stone the size of a marble that I am getting taken care of on Monday next week. I would say it’s worth it

Thank you. I do feel extreme tiredness been sleeping in the day. No fever. But I also not sure i have a stone? That's my issue. Wondering if I should get checked out to find out.
