Writing to you all from the bathtub yet again. Pain flared back up today and it’s nearly 11 pm. I’ve got no painkillers left and my heating pad just quit on me(perfect timing, right) I really don’t want to wind up in the er since I’ve kept out of it this long, but it’s starting to feel like my only option left. I might just set up camp in the tub and ride it out!

I take 4 ibuprofen when I don’t have anything else, it helps with the pain

Naproxen is the only thing that helps my pain besides morphine, honestly. Just camp out in the bath and I hope it’s over for you soon.

Please go to the ER. Not to scare you- but if that stone is causing an obstruction, you could end up damaging your kidney. Its called hydronephrosis. Look it up. I know ER's and surgery are scary, but sometimes you gotta push yourself toward the uncomfortable things in life.

Have you tried pickled beet juice yet? The beet itself might lower your blood pressure, and drinking the juice may help shrink the stones... At least that plus an antibiotic worked for mine.
