How do you know when you've passed a stone? I had a stent fitted back in July 2023. Obviously the stent isn't there anymore. They said you'll know when you pass it. I have kidney stones now, and they said you'll feel/see it. When I've had them lasered, they said it looks like sand. I don't look. I wipe and flush. It's easier for men—you can see in the toilet.

Small stones or laser fragments can look like tiny grains of sand or sediment, and they're very easy to miss.
