How many CT’s
- Strategy
- Patient journey
I’m dealing with an 11 mm stone in the right lower pole. So far just achy flank pain at times & hematuria when I work out. Missed my specialist call as it went to voice mail so that was that but they booked me a CT which is in a few days. The follow up appointment is booked for a month later(specialist is away as am I). My question is shouldn’t I try and book the CT closer to the appointment so I don’t have to have it repeated(office wouldn’t advise me on this). Wondering if anyone has any experience with this and how close a CT would need to be before any treatment.
Hoping not to have too many CT’s.
Thank you.

I’m not sure till I see Urologist. I have on and off ache in that side and on and off blood in the urine. Nothing too bad. You?
