how long does it take a 4mm kidney stone to pass?

Last Friday night I went to the ER due to severe pain on the left side of my back and found out I had a kidney stone there. I have been drinking water a lot more or even cranberry juice with lemon. I’m wondering how much time did this stone have to be in my body because I’m tired of this sheesh bro

Its depends on a lot of factors. Could be as quick as a week or up to a month.

I had one that took 3 months. She made it to my bladder then set up camp. My most recent 5mm took just a few days. I was jogging all over my house, doing jumping jacks, and using a compression massager on the areas that hurt. If I had a trampoline, I would have used it.

My 4mm stones pass in a couple days at most, sometimes in 12 hours but everyone is different. I drink a lot of water and walk a lot to help it move

I went to the ER on Easter Sunday, the pain was very bad. I had no idea what was going, I was diagnosed with a 5mm kidney stone. This was my first and I pray only!! I ended up in the ER again 12 days later because of the immense pain. At this time, after another CT scan, I was told it was now in my bladder and I should pass it soon. I did six days later. To sum it up it took 18 days to pass. I missed a week of work because of the pain. Awful!!!

The pain is horrible! I’m very sorry you had to go through that friend. I hope these are the last stones for us….
