Can the buildup from a stone make it hard to get your penis hard for sex? Asking from a guy’s experience. A girlfriend is asking because she’s sad her boyfriend can’t get hard that well, and he says he thinks it happens right when he’s about to get the stone. He’s been suffering from them for the last couple years.

It can be tough to get an erection when you're in pain...and kidney stones can and do cause pain so bad it's indescribable. That said, once the pain fades, and it often does even with a massive kidney stone, erections were no problem for me during the month between my diagnosis and surgery...but only on the days I was pain free. He isn’t feeling pain yet, he just said he thinks it happens when the stone starts to move, but he can’t actually feel the kidney stone yet, so that’s why I’m like meh. He does get em a lot though, ever since the kidney issues from an injury

There are so many reasons a guy doesn’t get hard, he could be super anxious, and medication can have a huge effect on guys too!! Is he on any meds? He might be even more frustrated and anxious because of how you react, which just causes more anxiety. I know it’s hard, but he doesn’t hate you. I always assumed whenever it happened it was because I was fat or ugly, but 95% of the time it’s the medication he’s on messing with blood flow, and that means blood flow to the penis and erections too. ...
