Unfortunately there is no way to know. Usually, when you're experiencing the stereotypical insane pain, it means the stone is moving and typically on its way out. But every person and every stone is different. Do drink tons of water! Get checked out by a urologist. And catch that stone! You'll need it to be analyzed to find out what kind you're making. Where was it at? Lower kidney, ureter? If it was lower kidney or ureter I'd be expecting soon. If it's upper kidney there's no way to know but it can still take a long while 😭

I just passed a 5mm stone. It was in my upper ureter… spent a night in hospital with morphine then 3 weeks of no pain, then pain for 3 days again but not as good, then it dropped into my bladder, which caused an almost constant feeling ofneeding to pee, about 5 days of that then one night I woke up at 4am with the largest feeling to pee I’ve ever had and then the stone eas in the toilet! I never used to drink much water and ate like a dumpster, that’s all changing after this
