HELP. Do I have kidney stones
- Strategy
- Patient journey
I woke up this morning at 6:15 with bad pain in my left side/back just below my ribs. It wouldn’t go away and sort of grew into my upper abdomen but also was mainly in my side.
It caused weird pains in my vagina too. Somehow. I don’t even know how to describe the feeling I get down there. I’m scared. Then I started to feel nauseous so I went to the bathroom but nothing happened. I got the shakes and cold sweats. Now I’m laying in bed at 7am and feel fine but like wtf…
I was golfing this past week and I’m a lefty so I don’t know if I just did something to the muscle but that really shouldn’t happen. I’m young.
Edit: I’m worried I have a bladder issue or something. For at least 6 months I’ve randomly felt like small/quick pain spasms in my vagina.

Only way to know for sure is to see a dr
Call your doctor! You’ll need a urinalysis and likely a CT to confirm. The pain, nausea, shakes, and the feeling of urgency & spasms in your crotch are all common for a kidney stone. The pain can come and go or rise and fall in waves. Please don’t get diagnosed online. There are other things with similar symptoms like endometriosis, diverticulitis, bowel obstruction, kidney infections, and more, so get checked right away. I’m sorry this is happening to you. Follow up and let us know how you...
Thank you so much! I got an appointment scheduled for next Friday! I will come back and update you. You’re the best for taking the time to help me out. I really appreciate it. I was losing my mind.
