I 26m passed my first stone at 17 then had another one at 18. I completely cut out sugary drink and I’m back with more stones.

I recently had a stone that was stuck on scarring tissue that likely developed from a previous stone. They did a cystoscopy and used a laser to get the stone and it was one of the most painful experiences I’ve had in my life. 4 days with a catheter after the procedure with no pain pills. The ct scan showed another 5mm stone still in my kidney. And now I have to monitor this stricture. I have to change my diet now to prevent further stones. I have to avoid high sodium and oxolate foods. Why am I so prone to kidney stones, everyone else in my life eats and drinks whatever they want and never have this issue. This sucks so much

My urologist had me do a 24 hour urine collection. It showed that my body wasn't absorbing calcium like it should. Doctor said it was the reason why I keep forming stones at a fast pace. He prescribed me some meds to help with it so I'm hoping it slows down the stone formation.

I have calcium kidney stones, from what my doctor said and what I researched online, it does in fact cause them.
