Taking Flomax in the morning more effective?

I have a 4mm stone in my ureter and was just prescribed Flomax - I know the instruction is to take it at night, but that logic doesn't make sense to me since that is the time my body is least likely to move 🤔
like if it helps my ureter relax but then I'm horizontal / barely moving / not regularly peeing doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of trying to get the stone to move out of my body?
Does anyone know if it's ideal to take it in the morning for maximum effectiveness (if you can tolerate it, I know it makes some ppl too dizzy for daytime)?

I think that the reason they suggest it at night is just what you mentioned about drowsiness and dizziness. If that doesn’t happen to you, or if you are in a situation that won’t be affected by those symptoms, I don’t see why you couldn’t. But I would ask your doctor.
I take Silodosin 8mg who they say is more efficient and more with side effects! I don't care about side effects (who are minimum)! I care to expulse my 6mm ureter stone who is lodged 13 mm from the UVJ(i think this means very close to the bladder, right? 🤔) But yeah, both Tamsulosin (flomax) and Silodosin(Urorec in my case) lower your blood pressure and that's the reason they telling you to take the pill at night before you sleep or with the last meal, cuz it may cause dizziness! I take Silo...
I think your logic makes perfect sense, and If you can tolerate the side effects i'd say that's probably smart. I know for me it wipes me out. Even following instructions, taking it with food and before bed, my dreams are some of the craziest dreams ever. I'll wake up in the middle of the night feeling like I entered another reality. So I kinda have to do it at night.
