What sodium and water targets are you actually aiming for?

I've been tracking sodium for about a month now and aiming for under 2,000 mg/day and 80-90 oz of water. My urologist set those based on my Litholink results.
But I've seen a huge range in this sub, and on [kidney.org](http://kidney.org), mayo, etc. Some site say 1,500, others 2,300. Same with water - anywhere from 2L to 4L per day.
What targets did your doctor give you, and are you actually hitting them? Curious how much this varies person to person.

My doctor said 2.5 liters of water, and did not specify sodium intake other than just lowering it. I've been doing 3-4 liters of water, and aiming for between 2000-1500 for sodium since I was certainly consuming way more than that before.
3L of water a day. I don’t track my sodium by quantity cause I find that depressing. I just try to cook more at home and watch for the sodium % on products. I’m also mindful about salty foods and try to moderate.
Similar to where I’m at. My urologist gave me a specific number based on my Litholink — 2,000mg ceiling. Interesting that yours didn’t specify. The 3-4L of water is impressive though, I’m still working to stay consistent at 2-3L.
