I can’t tell if something is wrong or if this stone is trying to pass on its own…

So, last Monday I woke up at 2am (I normally sleep like the dead) to pain in my right side. I was convinced it was my appendix and had my poor partner drive me to the ER. Turns out that it was not my appendix but a kidney stone, and a whopper at 11x6mm obstructing my kidney. I was also developing a kidney infection thanks to the obstruction. After pumping me full of antibiotics, they put a stent in and had me stay overnight to be monitored. The plan is to “laser it to pieces and flush it out of me” in the near future.
It’s been a week with the stent and I’m constantly peeing and there is blood in my urine. Sometimes it’s a brighter red and sometimes it’s more of a rosé color. When I wipe, the blood is thick, kind of mucus-y. I’ve also got cramping like the dickens today. It feels like the pain I felt when I woke up but dialed down a tish.
My question is, how do I know if something is wrong? I thought maybe I had just over exerted myself this weekend so I took it easy yesterday but the pain is starting to dial up and I’m worried that the wee beastie is trying to weasel herself out or that something is infected. Anyone able to share symptoms of before their stone passed?
