Hi everyone!

I have previously had a kidney stone (don't remember details as this was 10 years ago)

I seem to have gotten one again. It started with sudden, nauseating levels of pain from my lower right side. ER trip as I thought it was appendicitis. They told me I had a 3mm kidney stone, prescribed me flomax and pain meds. The pain went away that evening thankfully.

This was monday night. I still have not had any more pain, but I also don't think I have passed it..? I never felt the pain any lower than in my abdomen, right next to my right hip bone, and I've had no other issues like blood or painful urination.

Did I pass the stone and just not realize it? 😅 I feel like that would be really odd.

Or do you think that it's likely just getting there on its own still, and the pain stopped because it's no longer in a more painful location like up near my kidney?

Thanks in advance LOL just want to check and see if anyone here may know.

You need to see a Dr and get an CT to confirm if its still inside or not. Wishful thinking isn't an answer, lol.

Are you straining your urine every time you urinate? Typically, when a stone hits the last part of the ureter patient’s experience a lot of urgency and frequency of urination but with a small stone may not notice it coming out the urethra. That’s why you need to strain.

My 4mm popped out without me knowing. Went in for surgery to have it removed and when I woke up he said the stone wasnt in there lol I think I might have passed it when I used to restroom right before the procedure because it was still causing me serious pain the day before
