i had a 3mm stone wedged in my ureter. i got it fully taken out yesterday (tuesday) and the surgeon left a stent in afterwards. it comes out friday, so i've got two more days to go. i dont know if i can make it.
the constant feeling like i have to pee, plus the burning and the pressure and the nausea, is unbearable. i'm also backed up from all the opioids they gave me in the hospital, and on top of that my period is about to start (which is going to be awful because of endometriosis.)
the string that was hanging outside my urethra has also vanished and looks like it slipped back inside, which means the dr will probably have to go digging around in there for it. i'm panicking so bad. please help. i'm 19 and i have never been through anything like this before.

It feels way better now that it’s out, but I’m still dealing with some pain and burning, which is to be expected. Heating pads, toradol, Pyridium, and flowmax helped a little at the margins, but nothing truly took the pain away. All of it at least dulled the edge a bit, and sticking a pillow between my ...
