Patient journey

It’s my first time ever having a kidney stone and my god it’s the worst pain imaginable.

Last week i woke up from a nap after school with this discomfort and as i got up i got hit with the pain. I immediately began sweating horribly, Face immediately went pale and i felt so dizzy.

Because of this pain being completely new to me and i have CF i was taken to the ER. After being given a few heavy pain medication that would actually work they did X-rays and CT scans and found a kidney stone on my left side on its journey to the outside (I don’t remember the size but it’s too small to see it through an Ultrasound)💔

They admitted me to the hospital through ambulance because my blood pressure was super high which worried them.

I got released friday with floxmax, but no pain medicine.

Sat&sun were fine and i was able to relax.

come this early monday morning i woke up with extreme discomfort once more. This time though i was throwing up everywhere, and i hated it.

So im now back in the hospital because my BP is high again and i’m Hoping it will come out soon because i’m starting to become Supperrrrr impatient with all this pain

and i somehow managed to freak myself out that it won’t😪

first impressions of kidney stones are not good 💔

Your body was doing exactly what a body does when it is under that kind of physiological stress. The fa...

This was extremely helpful for me as well, as I am also trying to pass a stone, and when the pain ramps up, I shake uncontrollably and I get so cold.
