Mine was called 'The Uninvited Guest' - a 6mm calcium oxalate stone that showed up with zero warning and completely derailed a whole week. Passed it after 8 days of tamsulosin and 4 liters of water daily. Never appreciated my urinary system so much as in the days after it finally left. Naming them does make the experience weirdly personal. Do you think Stacey is gone for good or just on sabbatical?

She’s out! I retrieved her, washed her, and put her in a baggie. I’ve still been getting a few teeny fragments and my kidney feels so beat up, but much better. 6mm is definitely uninvited!

I’ve passed multiple dozens(rapid producer… lucky me). I name them according to the system they use to name hurricanes… alphabetical alternating between male and female. My last one was Morice, he was named after my Urologist.
