Scheduling an ESWL for my 1.6x1.0 cm stone in my left kidney, any similar experiences?

I recently had eswl+ stent for an 11.75 mm stone. I'm 19. I was terrified. The entire experience was much better than I expected. It was slightly unpleasant but nothing too bad. The stent wasn't felt. The first restroom trip wasn't bad. No burning. No Urgency. Just blood. Tons of it. I had the stent for a month. That’s very ambitious of the urologist to use ESWL for what is a very sizeable stone. It might work but I’m dubious. It works well for smaller low density stones but for dense or larger stones, stone free rates unfortunately drop off significantly. Personally I would opt for ureteroscopy and laser lithotripsy which has a much higher single procedure success rate. Were you confined after the procedure or were you free to go the same day? How was the stent removal? Were you asleep? Was your stone pulverized or did you have to pass fragments? Sorry for too much questions, ignore if you like 😅 Thank you for your response!
