3rd times a charm?

Last august I had my second laser lithotripsy for 6 stones (5 in right with 80% blockage, 1 in left 0% blockage). I unfortunately was cursed with the most incompetent urologist and staff. Bi-lateral stents are the devils play thing. He left a 8mm stone which he "didn't see" (it was on all x-rays and MRIs) and it grew to a 10mm+ stone by October, where it decided to break free and cause a 100% blockage forcing me to the ER. After 5 failed attempts to get emergency removal, I left the practice and linked up with a new urologist and its been a dream. I had a cystoscopy and they broke up a now 11mm stone that was lodged into the ureter and bladder. Sadly they did put another stent in which is scheduled to be removed next week. Recovery has been DRASTICALLY easier than last time. My....equipment.....is in a fractional amount of pain compared to last time, passing the fragments, the painful burning, evening just the feeling of the stent are miles ahead of the last urologist.

Not a vent, just saying if you are frustrated with your experience go elsewhere! I thought that the annoyance of my urologist was par for the course, but this new doc is an angel, blessing, and whatever other positive words of affirmation you can think of. Stay strong and hydrate!
