I'm 20 yo and this is only the second time I've gotten a stone. Today out of nowhere I came down with a 99.8 fever — is that something I need to be worried about? I'm on ayurvedic medication

Are you getting any other symptoms from the stones? If you're in pain, throwing up, or peeing blood, then I'd be concerned. But if it's only the low grade temp, that could be coming from any number of things.

The pain is the same kind everyone gets, like right below the lower right ribs. And no vomiting and no peeing blood, it's just the fever

A fever alongside a stone is worth getting checked out -- that can point to a UTI or an infection brewing next to it, especially since you're already passing a second stone at 20. Call your doctor or head to urgent care today, don't sit on it. Ayurvedic meds may take the edge off some symptoms, but they won't touch an actual infection if that's what's going on, and infections + stones can turn serious fast.

I went in to see the doc and he asked whether I'm getting any burning sensation while peeing, which I'm not, so he said there's nothing to worry about for the time being

Good call getting it looked at -- having no burning when you pee is a sign you're probably in the clear on infection right now. Still keep an eye on it though, since a fever can show up later if something shifts. Being 20 with a second stone already, working out what set off both of them is gonna be what saves you from stone #3.
