10 more days of stent. I don’t know how I am going to do it

I am currently on day 4. I went to ER the first time yesterday, because in my mind there was no way this was normal.
I can’t sleep more than a few hours at a time. During the day, I can’t do anything beyond going to the bathroom. I lay in bed with a hot bottle at my side. The pain meds I got don’t make a difference in the pain. Which I am frustrated by because I told them while I was still in hospital that it makes the pain go from a 7 to a 6/10.
Why do we have to go through this, without the proper pain management? It’s awful enough seeing blood everytime I go to pee.
I’m crying and I’m tired and I just wanna feel better…

I am so sorry. I was in unspeakable pain with the stent. What did they give you for pain management.
I fortunately got mine removed on Thursday. I had mine in for 10 days. I posted here last week on my issues as well. Couldn’t sleep, pain in side, etc. Fortunately I was prescribed hydrocodone. It was the only thing keeping me sane. One day at time. It will be over soon. Hang in there!!
acetaminophen and algocalmin (metamizole) I got tramadol once while in the hospital and that was the only one that worked
